1. Introduction

Clingi is a Ghana-based digital platform that enables users to buy, sell, and list goods and services. Clingi acts as a facilitator and is not directly involved in transactions between buyers and sellers. We do not own, inspect, or guarantee items listed by users.

2. Eligibility

At least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction
Able to enter into legally binding agreements
Resident of a country where Clingi operates

3. Account Registration

Provide accurate and complete information
Keep your login credentials secure
Update your details as necessary
Accept responsibility for all activity under your account
Do not use another user’s account without permission
No multiple accounts to evade restrictions or abuse policies

4. Buying and Selling on Clingi

For Buyers:

Pay listed price and applicable fees
Ensure delivery details are accurate
Raise disputes within the refund window

For Sellers:

Comply with Seller Guidelines
Only list legal, accurately described, and deliverable goods/services
Fulfill orders promptly and professionally
Respond to buyer inquiries and disputes in good faith

5. Prohibited Activities

List or sell illegal, counterfeit, or stolen items
Engage in fraud, phishing, or identity theft
Post misleading, offensive, or deceptive content
Interfere with the platform’s operation or security
Harass, abuse, or defame other users
Circumvent Clingi’s payment or feedback systems

6. Payments and Fees

Supports mobile money, debit/credit cards, and other secure options
Clingi processes payments and refunds, deducts commissions/fees
All payments subject to Escrow and Buyer Protection

7. Intellectual Property

All content is owned by Clingi or licensors
No copying, modifying, or distributing platform content
No use of Clingi’s brand without permission
Only upload content you own or have rights to

8. User Content and Conduct

You are responsible for your content
Grant Clingi a license to use/display your content
We may remove or moderate content that violates terms

9. Dispute Resolution

Clingi encourages buyers and sellers to resolve disputes independently. If necessary, Clingi may intervene to mediate. Our decision in such matters will be final. Legal disputes must be resolved in accordance with Ghanaian law.

10. Termination

Clingi may suspend or terminate your account for violations, complaints, or misuse
You may close your account at any time by contacting support

11. Limitation of Liability

Clingi is not liable for loss, damage, or delay from user transactions
Not liable for lost, stolen, or undelivered items
Not liable for disputes between buyers and sellers
Not liable for service interruptions, bugs, or data loss
Liability limited to amount paid to Clingi for the transaction

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Clingi, its staff, and affiliates harmless from any claims, losses, damages, or legal actions arising out of your use of the platform, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.

13. Changes to These Terms

Clingi may update these Terms from time to time. Users will be notified of significant changes via email or platform alerts. Continued use of the platform after changes indicates your acceptance of the new terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Ghana. All disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Ghanaian courts.
